Never really saw to many of the CD-5 (actually about 4.75in) in North America. I remember seeing and owning several CD-3s which were obviously 3in in diameter. Lots of cd players couldn’t play the CD-3 without a special adaptor to hold it in place in the cd drawer. Talk about a stupid design.Was that this?
These never caught on in the west but they were a bit more popular in Japan.![]()

Interesting insight into the methodology here, with the different stations ranked. Surprised by how long "Cuts You Up" has lasted, considering I don't remember it from back then, and I mostly listened to alternative radio at the time. I didn't discover it until much later.
I'm sure "Enjoy The Silence" is coming for that number one spot though
