As much as I appreciate when an artist tries to be environmental and use recycled vinyl, I have yet to ever get a recycled vinyl pressing that sounds good. New Billie album sounds like the whole right channel is lined with a sheet of paper. Oh well.

I got Fiona’s Extraordinary Machine for Xmas and I’m finally spinning it. Love the music, but really had higher hopes for the pressing. At least the collection is now complete.
Should I practice playing guitar, or listen to people who can already play guitar on my system?
I haven’t purchased any new gear in ages, but I pulled the trigger on a WireWorld Spaceport. Excited to get that into the system in the coming weeks!
I almost can’t even remember the last time I had an evening to sit down and spin vinyl. Got in a new album, a very old one, and a Gizz one. Great evening.
This is remarkably late, but I'm FINALLY getting the 3 latest Gizz albums on the TT tonight. Maybe not all of them, but starting with Ice Death and then I'll move to LD next.
Attention world: my wife voluntarily liked a 10 minute King Gizzard song. It is a good day.
Any suggestions for interesting new artists? I have been turning back to my old reliables more often, and I feel like I’m out of touch with newer artists.

Rage Against the Machine - The Battle of Mexico City is a great example of how even a fairly poor recording can still capture the essence of a show. This might be one of my favorite RSD releases since I learned that RSD was even a thing.
Got to hear a VPI Prime with Soundsmith Zephyr cart today. I was HIGHLY impressed. Amazingly low surface noise.
Moved my headphone system including loaner DAC into my office. I can't go backwards now. I guess I need to buy a DAC so I don't have to keep running headphones off my laptop.
I've got the house to myself all weekend - time to get spinning! Trying to figure out if I want to get Wildflowers, American Head, and/or Song Machine deluxe. I could get them all, but I'm trying to regulate the cashflow for other things. Hmmmm.
I have a very well regarded and somewhat expensive DAC in the house on loan. The only issue is that I cannot stop spinning records!
Haters gonna hate, but Dave Matthews Band - Crash is still phenomenal.
A friend's dad gave us his remaining vinyl collection, and I've been randomly cleaning it and going through various albums at random via discogs roulette. Tons of fun to discover new/old gems! Getting my first real taste of Emerson Lake and Palmer right now. -
