Got tickets to see Snail Mail here in Sacramento in April. Hopefully my mother-in-law will be able to come up and babysit so we can go. We're still trying to see if we can attend the Unknown Mortal Orchestra show in March.

We had another crazy storm last night, with 55+ MPH winds, and our power has been out since 11:30 p.m. Hopefully they get it working soon.
I go back to work in three days... These seven weeks have gone by way too fast.
Another major storm event is headed our way today. If it's like the one on NYE, we're expecting power outages and downed trees. They've already robo-called us letting us know to prepare.

Well, this year is starting off GREAT so far. Our backyard was flooded earlier, and I thought it was from all the rain we're getting, but I went out to try to possibly unclog a drain and then I saw TOILET PAPER. Lots of it. And it smells like rotten eggs. It looks like the sewer line blew out into our backyard.
First major storm here in our new house. High winds, lots of rain, internet went down, lights are flickering.

My copy of the new Weyes Blood album arrived yesterday from Sub Pop. Now I just need to find time to listen to it.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra are coming to Sacramento in March and my wife and I would love to go but our daughter will only be four months and we'd have to find somebody to watch her for the night.
First day back to work post-Covid and I'm pretty much by myself because everybody else called out
My work made me stay home for 10 days after testing positive for Covid, but I go back tomorrow, and it honestly flew by. It really didn't seem like I was off for more than a couple of days.
I just got an email for my 30th anniversary high school reunion. If I didn't feel old before, I certainly do now.
We had to put our cat Margot to sleep tonight... She was 17 years old and it was for the best but it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
Well, I spoke too soon the other day. My wife has Covid for the first time. I'm still testing negative. I'm worried about her and the baby, since she's 6 months pregnant.
I know it's been talked about before but shipping notifications should be sent when a record actually ships and not when the label is created. My much anticipated Turnstile record "shipped" from NY last Monday but as of now it's still just a shipping label.
