Anyone else shocked by how fucking good the new Foo Fighters is? Not since the Deftones dropped Ohms in 2020 has a band from my HS years dropped such a quality album.

U.S. Girls is fucking phenomenal live. The type of show that turns you from an admirer to a band aid.
Jai Paul vinyl obtained. I've always missed out on the Frank Ocean drops. This is a nice consolation prize-- even if I'm skeptical the sound quality will be decent (XL release + demos), it's one of my favorite pop albums.

Thoughts on whether the yellow and black bins at Costco are airtight enough to protect my records when pest control treats for bed bugs? They are too large for garbage bags.
The other option is bins that I won't be able to lid but could double bag in trash bags... but then can't stack.

Since this is the only pocket of the internet I felt comfortable acknowledging I have a brand new war with bed bugs to deal with
1) Apparently the use of plastic sleeves makes it extremely unlikely the bugs would fuck with my records as they don't like plastic.
2) My Carhart jacket was stolen from a bar 2 days before I found out I had bed bugs. Does it make me a bad person to hope karma bit them in the ass?

Has anyone here had to deal with bed bugs and protecting their records during the process? I started getting bit on Friday and just found a bug. On top of that my dumb ass was trying to get it into a ziplock and instead lost it in the hallway.
So now its definitely outside of the bedroom.
The vet tech that took care of my dog today looks like Grimes without the eating disorder and plastic surgery.

Two women in my life have confirmed this week what I've long suspected-- SZA is to young women what Atmosphere was in the 00's for young men-- solid music whose main function is keep fans company while they get up in their feelings about how shitty the opposite sex is.
I am the only one who finds this whole thing with Chapelle and Musk sad? Dave is so far removed from the comedy that made him.

If any of you are in Chicago, Danny Brown just announced a show at Empty Bottle and tix immediately went on sale. I snagged one. Bucketlist and should be wild considering Empty's niche as a tiny punk venue.
Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for about a month. The game, in spite of its clear flaws, is incredible. And the soundtrack is fucking phenomenal (while using mostly unknown artists) and really adds to the vibe.
Addicted to this album. Anytime a good alt-rock album drops in the modern era, it feels like a celebration is in order.
