personally think Die a Legend is way better than Mudboy, but then again I'm not a fan of Sheck Wes

I really enjoyed Die A Legend and thought Mudboy was so so. There's nothing on DAL as fun as Mo Bamba though.
after 4 whole years with VMP.. i finally cancelled my subscription.. no bad blood with them, just the excitement has died. if they have an exciting exclusive i'll still buy it later on and take the shipping cost and probably just swap my essentials pick for the hip hop ROTM

Honestly...I don't really miss my subscription much at all. Certainly not as much as I thought I would all the years I had it and had zero intention of cancelling. Kind of liberating actually.

@duke86fan Alice Coltrane, Darrell Banks, James Booker, Lightmen Plus One. I have others I want to get, even non-classics (William Bell, Donald Byrd, TV On The Radio, Living Legends to name a few) but they're cheaper on Discogs, so I can reduce my tracks quicker without worrying. The four I listed before are semi-expensive on Discogs, so sticking it out until I can get them.

I haven't opened Darrell Banks yet. Stax overload.
I'm thinking about cancelling my vmp subscription, without guess threads there is no hype or excitement
i think there is a very noticeable scratch (popping sound on regular intervals) on the last song on my stars LP

I had a lot of popping on the last track of my Stars album too, but no noticeable scratch....I'm considering contacting support about it, because that's one of my favorite songs on the album, but I can't really provide them with a picture to show there's a problem with it, so I don't know what to do.
yep... daughters is still terrifying... probably even more on vinyl

I love my share of scary music (Swans, Scott Walker), but I have yet to make it through the Daughters album.
i miss the old arcade fire (aka literally everything before their last album)
If you buy LPs from 2 different bandcamp pages do they come at the same time or different packages

Different (unless they're both on the same record label/mailorder distro). It's usually ordering from the artists directly, so you'll pay separate shipping. Some labels have their full merch webstores hosted there (e.g. Felte, Storming the Base) which allows the artists to have their own profile and page, but with merch still managed by the label.

In those cases, orders across the label's many band pages are automatically combined for reduced shipping usually. (It'll tell you in the order pop-up "plus $X for shipping" on individual items or "plus $X more for shipping" on additional items from the same source.

I had a couple of missed albums that went OOS. From memory all my deliveries arrived well wrapped and damage free. I haven’t had too many warps in nearly 3 years as a member but I did have 1 month where I came down with a case of the Mathers and all my albums (4-5) were a bit wonky. There was that time I got delivered 6 copies of 4 albums. So, swings and roundabouts I guess.
having now listened to jai pauls whole discography..

i prefer the older stuff to these 2 new songs

you read the whole message that he sent fans that is in the files for the "new" official leak? Those were songs he was working on during that era. I really really enjoy Do You Love Her Now

nerdy tech stuff here but im trying to put some LPs i bought on bandcamp onto my phone and i dunno whether to go with MP3 V0 or MP3 320, i have 128 gigs of space on my SD card but really cheap headphones
ZUU gives me a lot of comparisons to kendrick DAMN. of all things, they are both more poppy albums (but DEFINITELY still their sound) that though aren't as good as their predecessors are pretty good in their own right
