Yeah when oppo shuttered PS Audio tried to buy their drive manufacturing but were turned down so they went to Marantz as the sole show in town. I think I remember them saying their unit jumped quite a bit in price because Marantz charged a fair bit.
Some sony blu ray drives do still play SACD...
I have a copy of BSSM and I think I thought I liked it back in the 90s. I listened to it probably 5 years ago, maybe longer, and I just hated it with an unreal passion. It’s just fundamentally terrible and unlikable and it just hurts my brain.
This isn’t awful and if I had to listen to chilis this would be the one. I don’t have to though. Well until they come up on my play through, I have a few CDs that I haven’t listened to in probably more than a decade.
It beats out sticky fingers because of the songs for me. It’s the stones, it’s always going to be a bit grimey.
