My mom sent me a check for an unexpected amount for Christmas...that paid off both mine and my wife's credit cards. That's a great feeling.

The wife returns from her trip today. The dogs will be happy. And me and the kid, too. But there's a chance the dogs may pee with excitement...something that I hope doesn't happen with me or my daughter.

I don't think this will be a HIPPA violation, but while I haven't seen a swollen scrotum caused by the vaccine, I have seen a swollen scrotum caused by covid...from a blood clot in a guys leg....that he had to have amputated....oh...and the scrotum was filled with blood, not just edema (fluid).
Ugh...starting night 1 of 4 straight. Evidently we now have national guard helping at the hospital. So that will be interesting.
Last full day with my wife and daughter out of town...at least it's not going to be as hot as it has been the last couple of days. Still no plans to leave the house. Need to do some cleaning of this basement...starting with my desk, as it has been taken over by stickers/inserts/download cards.
Driving my wife and daughter to PDX in the morning...then gonna hit some record stores for this first time in a VERY long time.
Gotta take the Traveler off line for a bit, something is wrong with the start button/motor/PCB. Making noise and randomly starting up in reverse...and other random stop/starts. I haven't had to use my backup Technics SL3300 in years.
I have some package coming from Yep Rock / Redeye Distribution and I have no idea what it is.
TIL that a pack of Parliaments are $11 bucks and change....man, I'm glad I quit smoking years ago. I don't think I could afford my 2+ pack a day habit. As it is the Snus I use now is about 5 bucks or so each with shipping, but they last at least 2 or so days.
They guy ahead of me in line bought a single pack of Parliaments, so that's why I'm calling them out. I'm sure my Camel Lights are a bit more.
Not surprised about Soul winning best score. Was the best of the year.
