Woah. Journey has fired Steve Smith (drums) and Ross Valory (bass) for attempting to assume control to the rights to the Journey name. That's, uh, upsetting, to say the least. One of the greatest drummers of all time, and one of the greatest bassists of all time. They have a massive tour coming up this summer, so I hope they can find a suitable replacement. But that's an axe right through the foundation of the band.
