Does anybody ever buy tickets to shows or events and not go or is it just me? Like it sounds good at the moment when you buy them but the day gets here and you can't move.
Friday morning gripe. If I am paying $80 shipped for two records, I expect them to get to me without decent size corner bends. Not impressed by your fulfillment Mike and The Moonpies.
The new Morgan Wade record is largely a stinker. Reckless was a perfect album, but Psychopath is just not very good. I saw a review from Holler Country that gave it a 4 out of 10, to be honest that is pretty accurate. Really regretting that I paid $45 for her store variant minutes after it went up for preorder especially when their ending up being a colored variant from Amazon for $20 dollars cheaper.
When somehow your garbage disposal drops out of your sink and your record shelf is directly underneath it in the basement Only two casualties of war thankfully. But they were probably expensive unfortunately. Know what I’ll be doing today.
I don't how it is for the rest of the country but Jason Isbell concert tickets prices are just stupid. The big reason why I go see a bunch of people few have heard of most of the time.
Can I just say how much I hate AXS and Ticketmaster and their premium tickets. Looked into buying Isbell Ryman tickets yesterday, almost $600 for two front row balcony seats, GTFO. And it pisses me off that artists and their management are ok with this shit.
I don't remember a lot of my early childhood but I have fond memories of listening to "What's Love Got To Do It" and eating Spaghetti off green and red plates while my mom was in Law school at Memphis State in the mid 1980's. RIP Tina.
I am really tired of stupid vinyl prices. I like a lot of artists who don't have labels and seem to be doing vinyl and logistics on their own but seems like everyone of them these days are $40 plus shipped. I get you need to make money, but help me help you.
Can I just say Cocaine Bear was everything I hoped it would be. Terrible and funny at the same time. Sometimes you just need to laugh. And Margo Martindale is great in anything and of course RIP Ray Liota.
Tim McCarver, a two-time World Series champion who became a household name as a highly skilled broadcaster both nationally and in three Major League cities, died on Thursday at the age of 81. The cause of death was heart failure. McCarver, who made his Major League debut with the Cardinals
I have just come to the conclusion that we should skip the middle week of January apparently. Last year my wife's father died on the 15th. This week my stepfather was diagnosed with glioblastoma and my wife tested positive for Covid today.
The thing I appreciated about the north is that bitter cold and snow was just another day. Here in the south USPS didn’t even attempt to deliver today.
