I got to thinking about the delays with vinyl these days. I know all the pressing plants shut down for Covid but, I am also blaming this on bands like Manchester Orchestra and Angels Vs Airwaves that have 30 variants a piece.
41 was a pretty good birthday. Got John Prine tribute concerts tickets from my wife and my old stepdad bought me tickets to Daytona 500 next year. And mom gave me a good bit of money to buy a Fluance RT82. I will take it.

Got tickets to one of my favorites this morning, Dermot Kennedy. Show seemed to be a sellout in a couple minutes. It is so nice live music is back.
This new Lord Huron record may be their best yet. So good.

So now that we are having 73,126 people at boxing matches with no mask requirements, I guess Covid is over in the US. Really not liking this trend.

USPS is garbage. They haven't even delivered my mail for 2 days and they've raised international shipping rates again. How can they continually be so inept? With that said UPS delivered my new vacuum to the wrong house so there is that.
If Covid is anything like the 2nd Moderna shot, I want no part of that.
I am really dumb when it comes to audio equipment. My receiver got fried by lightning. Do I need a receiver or can I just use a amplifier? What the cheapest best sounding way I can go for the time being? Any help is greatly appreciated.
