Thanks. I bought some gold plated brass hardware yesterday that will add 1.75g to the SAE according to the seller. The bigger issue with the SAE is whether the suspension is messed up bc of the fall onto my platter. It played and tracked fine after, so I’m hoping it’s fine.

I purchased the new SL1-MK2 cartridge and it iwas perfect, until it wasn't, which was 6 months later. The sound from the rt channel was 20% less output. I trouble shooted it back to the cartridge. I emailed a nice letter and I was told they would not honor the warranty. I was blocked and threatened with legal action. Gregory was mad that I had the bank disput another bad cable return before this happened. I figured Gregory was going to do this, This is a cheaply made product that is made by someone else and sent to you. They use black synthetic diamonds, not a real one. Don't buy from them or any company out of the states, your warranty is worthless. Gregory is very nice, until he's not! Stick to the real, top manufactures, that's where the quality is! You get what you pay for. Buyer Bewear!

Sorry to hear this. You may be able to get the cartridge repaired by VAS in New Jersey, but it will be an additional expense. They will at least troubleshoot it for a nominal fee and let you decide if to proceed with repair.
