Incoming! The New Equipment Thread

Holy crap the packaging on this thing is wild. They basically created a floating platform using plastic sheets and cardboard frames...

It's hard to see but the unit is floating in the middle of the box supported by clear plastic on either side with several inches of room between the top and bottom and sides of the box. Basically acts like a big shock absorber. Goddamn the Danes are clever.

Look. I'm just gunna say... spinning that volume knob is like... orgasmic. I don't know what sort of diamond coated ruby bearings they have in there or something, but it's the smoothest thing ever.

And no I'm not going to leave it on top of my stage. I just needed to put it somewhere for setup...

Zero. Can't tell you why but it's literally never been an issue. But it's also part of the reason I'm moving everything downstairs. WAY more room, everything will have more room to breath.
Perfect. Long, long ago when I sold the Clockwork Orange Transcriptor ‘table, the guy that bought it tried to put it on top of his ginormous speaker. He called me up saying the ‘table didn’t work so I went over to see what was up. Saw its location and chuckled. Then he put on Edgar Winter’s Frankenstein and cranked it up. 🤯 When the synth kicked in the freaking arm tried to run away and hide. He learned a bit about feedback that day and I got a good laugh. Your VPI suspension is doing its thing! 👍
