Got mine yesterday. Haven't had a chance to do a deep dive yet but, initial impressions are very, very favorable. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn't wait to open all the "episodes." I had my gripes about the Blue Note problems all the way through. However, I'm not so sure one can say that only the bottom line was/is the concern with this Motown box. It's really a niche item. Seems to me so many more genres/artists they could have focused on that would sell out immediately...

Went ahead and bought it. I don’t have any of the suspected albums, so that was a factor. The box design is much cooler than the BN. Hope everything is worth it. 🤞 SoulPower!

Looks like Bobby Hutcherson's "Montara" is not going to be exclusive to the Blue Note Anthology box. Not that I really expected it, I suppose. New reissue out in Europe if anyone's interested in picking it up that missed out on the box. Fab album!
