All Things King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

Listened once through on the way to Fuzz last night. Enjoyed what I heard, going to take a bit to digest. Obviously liked some songs more than others because it's such a variety but it flowed pretty well for how different each thing sounded.
yeah man, one of the more impressive aspects of this album is how well it flows for such a diverse album.

I'm kind of surprised how much I like it upon a listen and a half. I'm not sure why I always go in with tempered expectations with them by now, but I just wasn't sure about this one going in. the rapping tracks are much better in execution than on paper but they're not my favorite. "Persistence" wasn't a favorite either, but I love that they tossed it all in making this easily the most diverse album from a pretty diverse band!

Edit: I may take back what I said about "Persistence" as I'm listening to it again, the lyrics are goofy but it fucking grooves...I could see it being super fun if they play it at a show
