I was looking through the gallery of a local club here in San Diego (Soda Bar) that has a capacity of under 250 people. They had two pictures from a King Gizzard show. These are from the 2016 show I'm assuming. since I found a video from 2015 linked below as well and they played here 2x. Been to a fair amount of shows at this club, but wish I had been there for one of these.

Finally listening to Petro on the big system, and all I can say is holy shit! I was not expecting this level of recording quality and mastering for a thrash album.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still thrash, it’s not even the cleanest pressing of all time. But this style of metal rarely even gets an enjoyable master for a revealing system. This isn’t best in audiophile, but it’s certainly best in the thrash category.

And of the 22-23 run of albums, this one just keeps growing on me. I initially thought Ice Death would be the peak of that run, but this one just keeps growing on me.

Ice, Death (etc.) is also a personal favorite of mine. Lots of grooves. Don't let the opening track fool you, there are some bangers.

Maybe if you need a break from the metal heavy albums like Rats Nest and Murder of the Universe.

The tracks on Ice, Death are more groovy I think. Iron Lung and Ice V are great.
