April 2021 Challenge Thread

I've been holding off on buying this album and then you had to say it sounds like Talking Heads...

Just the one song.... but yeah, you probably need this. Beautiful remaster by Chris Bellman. [hides behind chair expecting heavy object about to be thrown]

Day 13: Trainwreckord
play the worst album by a band/artist you love

mewithoutYou - Ten Stories

I guess I wasn't the first person to immediately think of Terror Twilight

I love all their albums but this one came at a weird time. They started out as a very hardcore post-hardcore band, went a little less loud for a couple albums, did a very folksy one, and then started transitioning back to post hardcore. This is their first post folk album and it's just my least favorite is all. One of the things I love about this band is that I've never met a fan who can agree on their album rankings.

Oh! The 3 lp version is available on Amazon Brazil with 2 day shipping....
Well, we all know how this will go down, don't we?

Day 14 - Nice Package

This is a beautiful package and it's a truly beautiful record. And sorrowful indeed. The solemn subject matter is presented so wonderfully; it's bone chilling and gorgeous at the same time.

I almost used this for multilingual but I didn't feel like spinning it that day.

Henryk Górecki - Beth Gibbons, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Krzysztof Penderecki ‎– Symphony No. 3 (Symphony Of Sorrowful Songs) Op. 36
