John Prine - Live At The Other End Dec. 1975

I purchased John Prine’s self-titled debut on CD while in college based mainly on the fact that The Dave Matthews Band had been performing a killer cover of “Angel From Montgomery” (with Boyd Tinsley singing lead vocals no less) and I wanted to explore his catalog further. It took a while for me to warm up to the album initially but once it clicked I became a big fan. Anyways this live album, cut by Kevin “Boom Boom” Gray really showcases the charm, wit, and grace that made Prine such a brilliant songwriter and performer.

They're giving you assanhado eyes on the cover that say "come hither and touch my chest hair." Happy to spin this one again since I found it a record fair a few weeks back. I hope they repress it one day so I can get a great copy, but this one isn't too bad till then.

Yep. I should have bought it last year when you could still get a reasonably priced copy used. But not no more. So many represses that need to happen. I'd take a Terrapin Station before this one though if I could, since I'm still missing that one.
