Bandbox: an uncompensated review of an interesting new club

They’re gonna have to hustle to get everyone who signed up in their system before selection closes on the 28th lest they wind up with some crabby new subbers.

purely anecdotal but i think they have been getting peoples' subs set up pretty quickly. mine was already set up and ready to go yesterday.

I'm still waiting on mine, but I'll be ok even if they don't hit the 28th. I got 4 records coming from VMP plus a PIF that arrived, so my turntable is queued up for while.

They seem to be pretty hungry, so I expect that should be the case (though I’m still waiting on mine). The whole “if you don’t select something by the 28th we pick for you” aspect is the thing I was thinking of, considering new subs start with this months 28th per the email. Just thinking if people don’t get set up by 11:59 on the 27th and selections get made for them, it could induce some unnecessary friction.

it's 3-4 days away and their CS is great, so I assume if they somehow don't get people set up, they'll make it right.

I signed up Sunday night as well and haven't heard anything yet either....I didn't even get the email that some people referenced getting about how they are hustling to get all the new subs made. Only thing I've gotten is the confirmation email right after I placed the order.

Any more people get setup yesterday? I need them to announce some exclusives ASAP. I have all this credit and nothing I really want to spend it on.

i signed up early morning 8/22 and haven't been set up yet (also didn't receive that email about timeline but they definitely took my money) - if I don't see anything today, I'll reach out so I can make a selection by the 28th

I reached out today and they said they were trying to get all accounts set up by the 27th
