Bandbox: an uncompensated review of an interesting new club

Oh dang. Forgot I signed up for this. Grabbed Alt-J, but I agree with the previous sentiments - they need to bulk up inventory soon. Loootsa sold outs up there.
 
at the per album cost of what the annual subscription was during that promo, even a lot of the non-exclusives are a good value, so while I hope they get more good exclusives, i think I can also get my money's worth out of this thing for a year and call it if it's going downhill

I told myself I'm in for a year, and that's it (even if I like it). There'll be a price increase whenever I'd resub, and I'm not prepped to pay for a price increase there.

this was my thinking too. if there's a month with no exclusives I want, I can just grab a regular pressing of a band I like for real cheap.
 
I don't have any Alt-J but remember really liking this album when it came out so I'm looking forward to this pick. I went with Ziggy this month, but would rather this one so trying to decide which has a greater risk of selling out on me before next months pick opens.

Looks like that was released in June (from my reddit digging). I had seen it last month and gave it a listen. I like the vibe, but I don't spin much hip hop.

Ah, ok...I hadn't noticed it before and figured it was new based on the December ship date

I've had this album since it's come out and love it. I grabbed the Bandbox copy as an upgrade as there's nothing else I want currently.
