I streamed it and the Ziggy today at work and ended up switching from the Ziggy to this one just in case it goes fast because I do enjoy it a lot. I'm still interested in the Ziggy I think for next month as it was better than I remembered too.
 
Initial reviews of Jose Gonzalez look promising (outside of @zdkaiser's sliced and diced version). Think that might be the way I go. I figure it may be more likely to run out than Watchhouse at this point and I don't expect any other drops between now and the lock in day.

Bandbox sent me a new copy. No questions asked. So that was an easy process.

I cleaned it up yesterday and played it. My copy is completely flat. I will say, there is some persistent low-level surface noise on my copy. It isn't overwhelming, but it is there and would likely annoy headphone listeners. It is more of a crackle, versus pops and clicks. May be a result of the white/green "mint" color vinyl. Regardless, the LP sounds pretty good. Definitely better than the other variants' reviews on Discogs. Some of the recording is blown out, sounds like there is clipping on the acoustic guitar when Jose is really strumming hard. Just the nature of the recording. I give pressing a B rating.

As a B student myself, I think I'm ok with that.
 
I know it’s not entirely their fault, but all of these shipping delays are making it hard to be excited about these exclusives.

i haven't gotten a shipping notification for Bedouine and ordered it awhile ago. might reach out to them. the others are pretty far behind too. i don't feel as bad now with the price i paid for the year sub, but still...i agree with ya overall.

Yeah, I got Bedouine a couple months back, and have yet to receive anything related to it. I also ordered Torres back in June, although I got it with Lucius, and have yet to get it. I would say they would ship them together, but that has never been the case with anything else I have preordered.

reminds me that i think i got lucius too hah. i really need to check my order history and make sure i'm receiving what i ordered! i just assume everything was delayed but then forget to check the dates...

I had a record arrive in SF Sept 17 and has been stuck in a random loop of In Transit, Arriving Late for 10 days now. Reached out to Bandbox and they are sending me a new copy right away. Kinda nice that they didn't do the old "USPS is late, give it time, blah blah" and just send me a new one.
