Bandbox: an uncompensated review of an interesting new club

Yes, I do believe it is a revamped offer.

My issue is I'm sitting on 3 records worth of gift cards and there isn't much in stock. I wish they would carry more of the regular titles for their exclusive artists so I had something to buy! Almost all of the ancillary titles to their exclusives are OOS
I was sitting on three gift cards from them, which were supposed to be worth four records, and I'm almost ashamed to say that I just cashed them all in for a free membership for 2023. I hope they have a release slate for 2023 that's up my alley.

Their first year was really good but lately their exclusives have been really hit or miss. I need more Nada Surf, Death Cab, Hold Steady, Gregory Alan Isakov type releases and less Sueco and Bonetones type releases.

Just got an email that they are supposed to get Rainbow Kitten Surprise from plant in next five days. Real interested to see how the hand poured turned out.

Hey, fellow record collector!

You are receiving this email because you pre-ordered a copy of our exclusive colored pressing of Atmosphere's God Loves Ugly. We've been in communication with our pressing partners on this release and they've informed us that this release will be finished manufacturing by 12/9. From there the albums will be shipped to our warehouse within 5 business days and our team will fulfill these orders ASAP.

We appreciate your patience as we work rapdidly with our vendor partners to prep this wax!

Sincerely,
Team Bandbox

People griping about communication, well there we go.

Just got this same e-mail with the same date, but it was about alt-j.

For this month, I decided to select Sylvan Esso, since I somehow don't have that album yet, and I enjoy it.

Just got a similar email about the Jay Som exclusive:

Hey, fellow record collector!

You are receiving this email because you pre-ordered a copy of our exclusive colored pressing of Jay Som's Everbody Works. The latest update we've received from the pressing plant is that these albums have finally finished and will arrive to us within 5 business days. From there, we will pack your orders up and ship them out as soon as humanly possible.

Again, we appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the vinyl manufacturing industry and thank you for your business!

Thanks,
Team Bandbox

As of right now, I am going with Laura Stevenson's The Wheel this month as that is about the only thing that I remotely want that I don't have.

I'm leaning towards Laura as well. Not much else I'm interested in.
Echoeing the Laura Stevenson here. But I'm thinking Cocksure over The Wheel, although I'm enjoying both.

I went through three copies of this, and never got a remotely playable copy. They all had some of the worst warps I have seen. Maybe they got a different batch in, but just a heads up!

Oi...maybe I'll switch to the new Dashboard album...thanks for the heads up

Picked Larkin Poe for the month, finally got around to streaming it and I could definitely chill out to this album with a beer in hand.

Used my gift certificates from the subscription and got the cost of next year down to $33.00. Last day to jump on the half off to get you most of the way down there.

For $33.00 for the year, it’s a no brainer
