I'm still subbed for 9 more months, but I ended up getting a sub for my wife (really just for me but addressed to her) because it was $100 after my gift cards, for 14 records. Hard to beat even if I get some I don't love and add to the Pif pile.
 
seems like this is going to become a pain if they get rid of/don't replenish non-exclusives and are OOS on tons of exclusives. methinks they might have grown a bit too fast.
 
None of the Needle Busters have been anywhere close to as good as last year.

So far they have had Torres, Lucius, Dashboard Confessional and Bedouine all for $14 or 15. Some last year were $5 shipped.

my complete guess is that they did a huge deal on the year long memberships to secure some upfront funding for exclusives/other initiatives. but now they might have stock issues. i've run out of records I want from them since I got most of the old stuff i wanted before i did the dive into the year long. it's a struggle to figure out what record to swap for each month.

I'm in the same boat. I was planning to just dip into the non-exclusives when I ran out of exclusives, but there's nothing else on the site i want/need at this point.

I think the quality of titles has dipped a bit from when Bandbox first started but for $10 a month plus all the free gift certificates I am not going to gripe to be honest. I will find something for $10 a month.

I was a bit afraid of a sub to bandbox for that reason. Not sure I'd have enough stuff I'd want and I'm not trying to just pick up stuff to check out because i'm actually trying to cut down.

They do have a few I like but I'll just pick them up during stuff like this and that Jose Gonzalez record that was marked down a few months ago. If decided to put up that Atmosphere in the next round, I would not say no (incase they are reading this thread).

I jumped on the year because I had a gift card already and got the sub for something like $85. still a no-brainer for me.

I'm with @Twentytwo --I really used to love their exclusives but they have taken a turn for stuff that I haven't been that into the past few months. Hoping they add some more stuff I like. Thought they were gonna add Syd - Fin at some point?

Also a War On Drugs exclusive supposed to be coming at some point.

But then listened to Larkin Poe for the first time and that I do like. So if nothing new that I want comes this month I'll probably go that route.

I completely agree that it would be nice for them to restock or at least keep a regular and fresh stock of non-exclusives, but I imagine they're losing money on those with the yearly subs, whereas they're probably at least breaking even on the exclusives.

Either way, I feel like I'm getting my money's worth and their CS is still great. And I'm happy to get an album to gift or Pif on months I'm not sold on what's available.

Yeah, I couldnt get a flat Sylvan Esso either. Didnt try for a 3rd replacement.
