Baseball

Did any of them take a knee during the anthem though? I was still working when the game started so I didn’t see but for the 2nd game I saw Mookie took a knee during the anthem (that’s when Bellinger and Muncy walked over and put their hands on Betts shoulder). Also, Kapler, Yazstremsky, and Sandoval (along with a few others) took a knee for the Giants during the Anthem.
I don’t think any of the Yankees or Nats did during the anthem itself

8 more Marlins players tested positive. Not good.

The beginning of the end of the season IMO.

I'm thinking that at least 2 more Reds players are positive but not officially announced yet (Moose and Senzel). Davidson tested positive after playing on Opening Day so everyone was most likely exposed in some capacity on the Reds.

It was a good try.

My biggest question is why are players even in clubhouses? With everything known about how it spreads more easily in confined spaces. I thought the original safety guidelines said they had to come to the park dressed?

From the looks of it, not a whole lot is being done well in that regard. I watched more than a few games this weekend where masks were poorly worn if at all. Players were still high fiving and celebrating. It was pretty bad.

The first walk off was a perfect example:

If that's the case then some blame has to fall on the players too. The MLB plan is far from perfect but players should also be taking the guidelines put in place more seriously. Maybe this will be a wake-up call, if the season continues that is.

The fact that the MLB doesn't have a prepared response for "what if more than half a dozen players on the same team test positive within 24 hours?" is a little bit concerning.
They seem to have modeled their response off our national response of just pretending that it won't happen. Meanwhile the KBO is letting some fans back in. End rant.

But seriously I haven't been following too closely. Has there been any positive tests in the Korean or Japanese leagues since their seasons started?
