I'd have preferred the Padres to face just about any of the other NL teams than the Cards. Historically, they struggle against them, However, this is a different Padres team than previous years, so I am quite optimistic about their chances. GO PADRES!!

Good series - hope y'all do well the rest of the way.
Silver lining is that our pitching was as good as we thought it was, even against a potent ATL lineup.
Our hitting was just outmatched and looked like a bunch of teeballers trying to hit homeruns with blindfolds on.
