Am I the only person completely in love with that Bartees Strange album? Not seeing it on many of your all's lists. Sits alongside Porridge Radio as my favorite indie rock album of the year unless we are counting Haim as rock and not pop.

Shades of TV on the Radio, Bon Iver, the Killers and a whole mess of different genres.

I don't know why that Aesop Rock album hasn't clicked for me yet. Maybe the beats? He's an all-time fav, and I thought The Impossible Kid was excellent so my hopes were high for this one. I'm also gonna have to check out that Thurston Moore as I've now seen it on a couple lists and adore Sonic Youth (and Demolished Thoughts). Rolling Blackouts too because people with similar cross sections in taste keep posting it.
