Black Friday RSD 2019

They pick a store from Gainesville but not the best store. Damn.
Did they even try to actually pick the best record store in each state? My impression from storf was that he just asked for any writers to submit an article about the best record store in each state and VMP picked the submission they liked best. Is that incorrect?

No...the one from Ohio is good but not nearly the best in town. Now the staff is friendly as hell but inventory is lacking

I will head to my local (s) one more time today. Please TAG ME, w/ a photo of the cover, and I will start from this post and go through everyone's postings to see if they have it there.
Thank you for your service. Those of us who live in a local record store wasteland are grateful for you and your generosity!

Kind of like putting a click bait title on a book, which is weird. I thought it was weird enough as the title of the series online.

Comeback Vinyl has left overs up on their Ebay page

No worries. If you have a second, can you check the last day or so and let me know what people are still looking for? I’m at the gym and heading to store after

Very nice. Nas/NBN were on my short list but ultimately choose just 2. How does NAS sound?
Don't know if anyone answered you on this, but the Nas is nice. Not like GoD's It Was Written. I have an OG I compared it with. Sounds good. Only a couple of pops here and there but sounds nice, no excessive surface noise like IWW. One change - OG had printed inners but this has plain paper sleeves - due to the fact that info from OG printed inner sleeves was recreated on gatefold.

Good looking out

Yeah, no luck searching it out online yet
It must have been bought out online overnight/this morning. Cause I went to sleep after they had closed last night and it was still showing available. I'll keep my eyes peeled but at least according to the online stock it's unavailable.

Yeah, of all the Black Friday releases I thought for sure that would have been more easily available at 2,000 units. Here’s hoping Bullmoose is sitting on a huge stack to put up Monday!

If anyone is looking for Edan, you can also buy it here online: Edan - Beauty & The Beat

I just want to say that this album is fantastic. I've had it on CD for years and remember when it came out back in the day. I came to it because I liked Mr. Lif and he guests on it. If you like Hip Hop get this. It is a true showcase of skill as both as an MC and producer. Also, if you just like leftfield/weird music - get it too, even if Hip Hop isn't your thing. This album is a psychedelic kaleidoscope sui generis. It has plenty of inspirations and influences you can point out, but also sounds wholly like its own thing. As well, the pressing is great.

Edan is one of those talents who I wish had way more output than he does. Not as bad as Cool Calm Pete, but I'd like to hear more music coming from him.
