I put BTWN just a notch above Never Let Me Down, so definitely bottom of the Bowie albums. Pallas Athena is what saves it for me.Well, the announcement did motivate me to revisit those 90s albums. BTWN is weaker than I remember, and Buddha is not very interesting at all. On the other hand, Hours is waaaaay stronger than I remember, which is a bit shocking.
At this point, I'm 100% in on the reissues of Outside/Earthling/Hours, and lukewarm on the rest.
I came back to Buddha a few years ago and it really grew on me. For me it is a real headphone album.
