So here we are. I couldn’t find a Shawm or crumhorn necessarily credited on this album directly but dude dressed like a Viking and playing many wacky instruments on the streets of NYC when he wasn’t conducting classical pieces for Columbia Records. There are also several bassoon credits listed on this record which is essentially the Shawm 2.0.

While this album could probably be seen as an unpaid endorsement for cocaine, I am gonna instead reference heady days early in this millennia when The Osbournes TV Show reinvented the family sitcom for the Reality TV generation and resulted in Ozzy and family being all over pop culture for a short time including an I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter commercials.

There are more than a few artists I coulda went with but I wanted to highlight an album by a drag queen that is gonna be in my AOTY list at the end of the year but because they released it in a bit of a gimmicky way (as a digital “pay what you want” download on a Geocities site) there has not yet been a physical release of this album.
