There are more than a few artists I coulda went with but I wanted to highlight an album by a drag queen that is gonna be in my AOTY list at the end of the year but because they released it in a bit of a gimmicky way (as a digital “pay what you want” download on a Geocities site) there has not yet been a physical release of this album.

Can't wait for a physical release! This music will really shine off vinyl.

One of the best of the year, no doubt.

Cheap Trick "Dream Police" (1979 Epic; 2013 reissue)
Rick Nielsen is well-known for playing double necks, including a custom made in a caricature of himself. In 1982, he even started playing a 5-neck Hamer that happens to include a fretless fingerboard on the bottom neck.
