No dry vermouth on hand so this is a “sweet” martini. Sweet in name primarily, used 3 parts gin, 1 part sweet vermouth, couple dashes orange bitters. Pretty good!!! And pairs well with Springsteen

Yesterday was my wife's birthday. Among other things we enjoyed Mai Tais in the sunshine.

Supposed to be topped with soda water, but didn't want to open a big bottle. Doesn't really need it anyway IMO.

Gin, limes, cucumber, chilli sauce, Worcester sauce, sugar syrup. Muddled, shaken and then dumped in a glass.

Mine has too much Worcester sauce because my 2 dashes accidentally turned into a pour. But it still tastes great.

The Irie Gimlet



Basically a gimlet but made with a cannabis gin.

It's amazing. Cannabis pairs amazingly with lime and juniper.

1 oz Bruto Americano
3/4 oz sweet vermouth

Delicious.

Luxardo Rye Manhattan

• 3/4 oz Luxardo Liqueur
• 3/4 oz Antica Formula Vermouth
• 3 oz Rye Whiskey
• 3 dashes bitters
• Luxardo Cherries, to garnish
• A tiny dribble of Luxardo cherry syrup, if desired
• One large ice cube

I’m a big fan of everything St. George! I’ve been on a tour of their distillery (back when we could so those kind of things) and they are good people.

Finally bought a bottle of rum for the bar so last night I made a delicious daiquiri. Just need some grapefruit juice so I can try a Hemingway daiquiri next time!
