I wonder if that was printed before the label was done away with. Newer stuff just says Black Label.

Be a better touch if they hadn’t done away with one of the best and most important comics labels of all time, but whatevs. Warner has a way with pissing me off.Physical for this has the old Vertigo branding as well, but is technically a Black Label title, since Vertigo is dead. I think because Sandman was the flagship of Virtigo, they've kept the branding for those collections for shelf appeal... they'll better fit in with the older Sandman stuff. I think it's a nice touch.

Love me some American Vampire. Talon was a fun spinoff of court of owls too.
It tells the story of a demonic specialist who's brought in to deal with a very rare form of demonic possession: a bend sinister capable of manifesting its nightmare realm within our own.
I was just coming over here to post this! Going back to the Vertigo discussion, its obvious here that Bill has definitely soured on DC's current management, especially since they shuttered the Vertigo brand. And honestly a pretty surprising move for him in general. Fables did get a bit long in the tooth (no pun intended) as it went on in its initial run, but I'm curious to see how it evolves from here. This is pretty wild!

Keith Giffen, comic book artist and writer, dies aged 70
Creator of Rocket Raccoon, star of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie series, and the DC superhero Blue Beetle died after suffering a stroke on Mondaywww.theguardian.com
We lost Keith Giffen today. These past few years have been brutal to comics; we've lost so many legends. At least it seems that Keith was able to keep up his exuberant sense of humor up until the very end. I was always very fond of his work.
He was the co-creator of Rocket Racoon, Lobo and Blue Beetle III(Jaime Reyes) and penned acclaimed runs at DC writing books like Justice League International and Legion of Super-Heroes. He will be missed.
