Country / Alt-Country / Roots / Americana

I was supposed to see him, for the first time, last night at Webster Hall. Huge bummer. Hope he makes a full recovery.

I had tickets to see him at the Ryman although I have seen 3 times before, I was really looking forward to this because of him playing songs from The Ballad of Dood and Juanita, but yeah he just needs to get better. I'm sure there will be times in the future to see him play again.

So that no-no boy1975 album is pretty great. It´s more a history lesson on asian-america history disguised as a folk record ( i think it is even part of his PhD thesis) but it is great
I love it, it's one of my top albums of the year. It's cool that the lyric sheet that comes with it has a story for each of the songs. Along with those two, this is my other favourite.

That's fantastic, I can't wait to hear Margo Price's cover of Sweet Revenge.

Looks like Adia Victoria's album is coming out on vinyl in November in March. I should start checking before telling the guys at my local that it's out already.

I thought Adia Victoria wasn't due until February or March. This is great news!
