Ugh. I saw 3/11 and assumed it meant November 3, just realized it means March 11.
Oh dang! Sorry to poop on your parade.
On the plus side, we already know it's gonna be well worth the wait!

If you don't know about Dori Freeman, you really should. I celebrate her entire catalog.
She’s one of my faves.

LOL! After you posted this the first thing I did was to check Discogs to see if had been pressed yet.Same, I love her voice and her songwriting. Now if she would just press Letters Never Read on Vinyl.
So that no-no boy1975 album is pretty great. It´s more a history lesson on asian-america history disguised as a folk record ( i think it is even part of his PhD thesis) but it is great
Anyone hear anything about this record? I got an update that it was delayed, but hadn’t heard anything beyond that. Anyone else?So the tracklist for Broken Hearts and Dirty Windows Songs of John Prine Volume 2 Comp is pretty outstanding.

Hello Friends,
Earlier this year, we announced Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine, Vol. 2. At the time, we set October 8th as our release date for digital and CD's/Vinyl. Unfortunately, due to multiple delays in the recording and manufacturing processes, we are no longer able to meet that date.
Our current timeline is showing that we should be able to have CDs available by the end of the year, and we hope to have vinyl available at the beginning of next year. If you have already ordered vinyl, you will receive a special slip-mat + a limited edition colored vinyl. We will keep you updated every step of the way.
If your initial order of the album included other items, those will ship at the beginning of next week, and you will receive a shipping confirmation at that time.
If you would like to adjust your order or to receive a refund, please respond to this email, please feel free to email us orders@ohboy.com or call us at 615-742-1250.
We apologize for the delay in delivering this record. We are deeply proud of this tribute to John, and can't wait to share this with you. Thank you again for your continued support - we would not be here without you.
All the Best,
Oh Boy Records
Not going to lie, I think JRW's new album is his best album yet.
Pretty sad day.
For sure. They had a great roster for a while there with JTE, MBD, Cory Branan and Sarah Shook and The Disarmers.Yeah, that’s a bummer TBH I am surprised they stuck it out through the last few years considering everything that went on.
Bloodshot has been trying to sell for the past 2 years and I would assume either no takers or both owners couldn't agree. I would also assume that's why they have held on to the artists' masters. They also had an accounting issue with paying royalties that I never saw as having been resolved in the media. That couldn't have helped a potential sale either, on top of all the PR damage.Bloodshot was huge to me for many years but the last five or so as things started to devolve, their scene changed and even going to their shows the vibe was creepy and off. I hope the artists who got fucked over eventually get theirs. I saw at least Laura Jane Grace commenting on this post and taking them to task while asking for her masters back. Sad situation on how it all ended.
