What is it going to take to get a pressing of Lainey Wilson's new album? Album comes out in two weeks but no vinyl announced. :(

I kind of agree with it to be honest. I like Childers but I am not paying $60 for this album unless it is signed. I want an album full of new songs, not remakes or instrumentals.

I mean that’s valid and worth a paragraph not a lengthy tirade that when focusing on the music (other than the last disc) seems positive…

What I haven’t seen in any of the reviews is an attempt to discuss the almost meditative quality to the album. It’s like a call and response service in a little country apostolic church. There’s a leader (Hallejuah), a response from the congregation (jubilee) and an estoeric release akin to speaking in tongues (joyful noise).

I find it absolutely compelling and interesting.

I also question the cash grabbiness of it. I can’t imagine RCA was happy with it and I imagine much like Columbia’s response to Red Headed Stranger - they didn’t even remotely get it.
