Bobby Brown - Don’t Be Cruel
I bet a lot of people forget this was his 2nd solo album rather than his 1st. That album only spun off one R&B hit while this album had 5 top 10s on the pop chart (3 of which hit #1 R&B too) and for damn good reason too, they’re all classics of that era!

This is my second favorite Christmas album (after this, it’s pretty much a “depends on when you ask” thing.). It never fails to put a smile on my face. I spend most of December belting “every single Christmas I just fall in love….” New reason this year is that there is a picture book based on the title song that the 3 yo loves and has asked for me to read every day! She enthusiastically yells Sock every time it happens in the story. The whole thing is one big rocking nostalgia bomb and should be a sure fire cure for hearts that are two sizes too small…
