When a repress comes along, is it ok to call the first press and repress, together, 'vinyls'?

Maybe a Melt, but don't sleep on this one. It's a soul banger with fender bass. When a repress comes along, is it ok to call the first press and repress, together, 'vinyls'?
Not sure if this is the same for sheep, but when referring to more than one fish species, scientific literature uses "fishes". Multiple individuals of the same species is still "fish".
Weird. I has always thought that linguistically fishes is the act of fishing, not varieties of fish. Unless thatās another way in which your English has diverged from ours.
Sheeps is definitely not right in any context. Fails the āit sounds plausible when you say itā test. That said I suppose sheepās is but then sheep donāt own that much shit.
Dammit @Joe Mac this is how Planet of the Apes starts. You start making the monkeys realize how we oppress them then Caesar can get them to join forces!Yeah, farmers monetize the shit too. Sheep don't even own their own shit.
Or FAQs. Or moosesVinyl is shorthand for vinyl records. You and everybody else can say vinyls if you want. It's nothing to get worked up about but in the same way that RBI stands for "Runs Batted In" and someone might says Tim Anderson had 4 RBIs last night It's incorrect in a redundant or superfluous sort of way.
Plus 10 for using Luis Robert in your exampleYeah, "Run(s) Batted In" = RBI. it works both ways. So Luis Robert could hit in 1 RBI or 10 RBI but 10 RBIs would be like saying "Runs Batted Ins" which is awkward and redundant.
It's meese.Or FAQs. Or mooses

I hate them meeses to piecesIt's meese.
AnarchyIād allow FAQs because the last word is the plural one.
Sox fan is gonna Sox.Plus 10 for using Luis Robert in your example
Wait, you mean Sox's fan, don't you.Sox fan is gonna Sox.
Sheeps is perfectly fine. In my dictionary, the word has an image of SHTV followers beside it.Weird. I has always thought that linguistically fishes is the act of fishing, not varieties of fish. Unless thatās another way in which your English has diverged from ours.
