Definitive Audiophile pressings

The rarities and outtakes album is as good as a whole new album and will get spun just as often by me, which is rare because I usually don't give a crap about those discs, but this one is made of incredible recordings. I can't sing the praises of this enough and cannot wait until the Dixie Chicken one arrives.

They absolutely do. The quality of the recordings is among the very best. Some of my Japanese copies are so perfect I don't think they could be improved upon, but Sailin' Shoes and Dixie Chicken are tough to find quiet OG copies of that don't break the bank.

Can you tell where they are pressed. Both sets are retailing for over $50 but I have a 20% off punch card full for my local and don’t own either making them a bit more palatable.

I'm fairly certain that it is Memphis Record Pressing, but there are more things etched and pressed into the deadwax than I've ever seen. I know they have a contract with Warner though and it does have an MRP in one string of numbers pressed in there.

I have very little sympathy for the people bringing the suit and they’re the reason the lawyers get to extract all the $$$$.

It’s just a bunch of pathetic cry baby “audiophiles” who are still whining because they couldn’t tell there was a digital step after years of bashing records using anything but AAA.

One of the main guys who filed the suit has been trying to sell his MoFis now on the fb group he created for insane prices.

The whole thing is almost unbelievably absurd. (It would be completely unbelievable except for the fact that, apparently, it’s happening.)
