Anyone who's a fan of Little Feat needs this version. It's audiophile all the way and better than my Japanese OG. BG crushed it on all three discs. The rarities and outtakes album is as good as a whole new album and will get spun just as often by me, which is rare because I usually don't give a crap about those discs, but this one is made of incredible recordings. I can't sing the praises of this enough and cannot wait until the Dixie Chicken one arrives.
Ha I was actually spinning those yesterday trying to determine if I needed the reissue. I think I need the reissue! I must say, Little Feat have some of the best sounding rock albums of the 70’s.Cross post from the what's spinning thread. You all need this. It's perfect in every way.

They absolutely do. The quality of the recordings is among the very best. Some of my Japanese copies are so perfect I don't think they could be improved upon, but Sailin' Shoes and Dixie Chicken are tough to find quiet OG copies of that don't break the bank.Ha I was actually spinning those yesterday trying to determine if I needed the reissue. Can you tell where they are pressed. Both sets are retailing for over $50 but I have a 20% off punch card full for my local and don’t own either making them a bit more palatable. They absolutely do. I'm fairly certain that it is Memphis Record Pressing, but there are more things etched and pressed into the deadwax than I've ever seen. I know they have a contract with Warner though and it does have an MRP in one string of numbers pressed in there. Can you tell where they are pressed. for those who want some of that MoFi money. my email went to spam originally. looks like you can return for a full refund, get 5% cash or a 10% off coupon.
Yea it’s a shit deal for everyone except for the lawyers.Tempted to write in an objection. This whole suit stinks.
Yea it’s a shit deal for everyone except for the lawyers.
One of the main guys who filed the suit has been trying to sell his MoFis now on the fb group he created for insane prices.I have very little sympathy for the people bringing the suit and they’re the reason the lawyers get to extract all the $$$$.
It’s just a bunch of pathetic cry baby “audiophiles” who are still whining because they couldn’t tell there was a digital step after years of bashing records using anything but AAA.
People with money ruin it, always.
The whole thing is almost unbelievably absurd. (It would be completely unbelievable except for the fact that, apparently, it’s happening.)Or people looking for money. There’s a whole desperation with certain people who see the chance to extract even a small amount of money. Anyone who desperately look for or cling to things like this aren’t people I have any respect for.
