I have this 33RPM version and this getting the 1step treatment with that price tag feels nuts.

The second half of this album feels like far too much time spent on out takes and the session itself is FAR from anything I’d deem essential Sinatra.

More of a super fan collectors item than anything imo. Impex sent me the 33 after taking 6 months or so to replace a defective Kenny Dorham Matador, but I don’t think I would’ve bought it otherwise and I’m a big Sinatra lover

It was a 10” I think that was expanded to a full LP with the outtakes. I agree with ya and the 33 sounds amazing but I only really listen to side A

I got the box because I succumbed to fomo. I would have bought self titled for sure because my copy is the mono and that’s like a whole different thing in some respects. My LA Woman is the 2009 BG cut from QRP so that will be an interesting shoot out.

I also succumbed to fomo...i was kind of hoping it was sold out when I looked this morning, but it wasn't, so I had to buy it.

I am interested in how they all sound compared to what I own - some I really don't listen to or remember if I purged them for a better copy.

S/T - 1968 Allentown pressing, 2009 Mono
Strange Days - 1967 Monarch pressing, 1967 Terre Haute pressing, 2015 mono
Waiting for the Sun - 1968 Sonic Pressing, 1968 Monarch Pressing, 1968 Terre Haute Pressing
The Soft Parade - 1979 Allied pressing
Morrison Hotel - 1970 Monarch
L.A. Woman - 1976 Specialty, 2012 Analogue Productions 45 RPM

That's an impressive list.

I only have a 70s red label of WFTS.
The box was a no brainer for me.

Sounds like all the titles are confirmed to be broken out separately.

yes very excited. didnt look at who cut or pressed the US pressings though. i went with JPC for this one expecting the UK/EU to be different pressings.

Mine is the store but I’m not in Dublin so should be picking it up on Thursday.

Very good news. Still gonna wait to hear thoughts though. It’s a solid album.
Great performance on Graham Norton a few weeks ago, and it was great to see Pharrell gushing on the couch after
