Definitive Audiophile pressings

Ok so, 10th Anniversary Press vs the new 45 Madvillainy. I honestly think the 10th sounds quite good, and they both have the same track listing per side, which speaks to how much space they allowed per track on the 33. The dead wax really isn't much different between the two. Really good highs and bass on the 33. That being said the 45 is better. Much wider stage and just has more going on, more separation, every little part grabs your attention more than the 33. But it's not night and day at all and I think this would be very dependent on individual systems. That being said if your copy isn't the 10th Anny and it sucks, this will kill it.
Oh also FAR nicer jacket. Thick stock tip on gatefold.

Which again, is a broad category of music that encompassed many subgenres including bands that could be called Punk. Regardless of many purists feelings that Punk died when the Pistols or the Clash broke up… there are plenty of bands like Bad Religion, Rancid, NOFX and yes, even Green Day, that are widely considered part of the music. Punk is also bands like Devo and Talking Heads that have a firmly DIY aesthetic but that meaning has been lost over time and people call them Post Punk or New Wave. Doesn’t make someone who refers to them as Punk wrong. Purists in all genres can get bent. I say this as someone who struggles with Cowboy Carter being country.
Many subgenres... like grunge 🫣
