Definitive Audiophile pressings

They are just standard direct to board jackets:

I need to give the Toussaint a spin.
Both sound excellent spun em yesterday the music jumps out the speakers with a crisp low end. I am very happy with them and looking forward to what they are gonna release next in the series.

For international folks, looks like iMusic is stocking the Rhino Reserves. I see Allen Toussaint so far but no Eddie Hazel. These are excellent.

and yes, confusingly the first 2 are labelled as SYEOR for some reason but are really rhino reserve series

Interesting side swerve from pop punk and the dregs of nu-metal.

This album, along with Belinda Carlisle, gives me major Dad’s car in the late 80s and early 90s flashbacks.
Big time. I think first and last time I heard this album was my dad playing it at home. Not in the car because we had a Volvo with no tape deck or AC so there was nothing good or fun or just ever happening in that car, but it could survive a crash at full speed into the side of a mountain with only minor damage to the mountain, so therefore a great car in my parents eyes.

I will say it again. Every Canadian mother in the 90s received this as a birthday/Xmas/Mothers Day present. By law.

For those who have slept on rhino reserve... Seems like rhino doesn’t have plans to repress and Toussaint is already OOP

I don't think I will ever believe Rhino again after the RHF fomo drivel, but stock is here for the two titles.

yea--they may well repress these given the popularity. but these are starting to go OOS everywhere and from memory, a bunch of SYEOR and Rocktober titles came and went and weren't repressed.

but also a bunch have been quietly and randomly repressed thought the years too.
yep! i know electric warrior was repressed when T Rex joined the Rock and Roll hall of fame. a few others too. Given the price and quality of these, I'm personally not chancing it. But definitely understand the hesitancy of believing Rhino at this point. I've just seen Toussaint going OOS at lots of places already.
