They probably just bought it from Deep Discount like the rest of us!My local just got in a copy of the KG Electric Warrior, so it may be a repress after all. The saga continues....

Haha I doubt it because they didnāt mark it up in price, but you never know! They probably just bought it from Deep Discount like the rest of us!
Red Cat? They have a copy listed on Discogs today at a fairly reasonable price, though I got it a bit cheaper from Deep Discounts in DecemberMy local just got in a copy of the KG Electric Warrior, so it may be a repress after all. The saga continues....
Thatās the one! If I didnāt have the mofi I would have grabbed it for sure.Red Cat? They have a copy listed on Discogs today at a fairly reasonable price, though I got it a bit cheaper from Deep Discounts in December
I'm a huge Herbie fan, and I don't think you can go wrong anywhere from Headhunters and earlier.Unless you really like later Herbie (1979 and beyond) you're better off using that money to buy his audiophile releases of his albums one by one . There are a lot out there and I think it's cheaper than getting the anthology even:
Inventions & Dimensions (BN80)
Crossings (Speakers Corner)
You didn't get the deluxe? I've been eying it for a while given Abbey is in the five not completely overrated Beatles albums that they churned out. This Abbey Road anniversary pressing is surprisingly nice sounding. I know a bunch of y'all said it sounded great but I keep being impressed by pressings like this that are $20 and still sound fantastic.
I ended up just getting the 1LP. If I find the deluxe for a good price again, might buy it and sell this 1LP. I tossed this one into an acoustic sounds order to hit $100.You didn't get the deluxe? haha I'm actually not a very big fan of the Abbey Road half speeds. Some sound good, others sound like shit IMO.It took my a minute to realize you meant the album and not a half speed master of something.
Yeah, some are very hit and miss! The SadƩ boxset which was Abbey Road Half-Speed thankfully sounded very good, as did the Bob Marley Half-Speed reissues, but I was wary that I was taking a bit of a gamble! Every Abbey Road I have purchased so far, has sounded excellent, from Amy Winehouse to INXS, but I have heard mixed things for other Abbey Road Half-Speed reissues!haha I'm actually not a very big fan of the Abbey Road half speeds. Dusty in Memphis is great. Probably not AP great but for Ā£20 it's fab. Solid Air also great and I like my stones box.Yeah, some are very hit and miss! The Analogue Productions 2xLP 45RPM pressing sounds outstanding, but if the Abbey-Road 1LP sounds amazing, then that's so good! That would probably be like comparing the MoFi 2xLP 45RPM pressing of T. Rex's Electric Warrior to the Roktober 2017, Kevin Gray 1LP 33/13RPM pressing!Dusty in Memphis is great. I've read they made a right mess of Scott 4 though... Which is a shame as i'd have been all over it had it not been slammed
Just spinning the Analogue Productions (AP) pressing for Dusty Springfield and it sounds ohhh so good! Was spinning the AP pressing for Tea For The Tillerman last night and it was such a beautiful listen too! That Cat Stevens pressing sounds phenomenal! Easily one of my favourite AP pressings!!!

What do you mean that Dusty In Memphis cover is all kinds of wrong? Like itās a really low quality looking album jacket? That cover is all kinds of wrong though...
Is the Cat Stevens really that good? I like that album but the 45 is silly money now.
It really is fantastic, no question. I had a crate copy when that came out and I jumped on it, one of my favorite albums. Is the Cat Stevens really that good? I like that album but the 45 is silly money now.
No Nathan, there was a totally different cover in the UK for thst album, the AP has the US cover. Take a look at the cover of my Abbey Road Half Speed Master in the Whats SpinNing Thread, i was spinning it earlier! What do you mean that Dusty In Memphis cover is all kinds of wrong? That Cat Stevens sounds absolutely astonishing Joe! The guitars sound so lively to the point itās like heās in my room playing the guitar! You can hear every intricate detail! Nearly shed a tear when Wild World played; got a bit emotional listening to that song!
Damnit! Iāll have to try and get hold of that then...It really is fantastic, no question. I had a crate copy when that came out and I jumped on it, one of my favorite albums.
