You won’t regret it.
Please note I am repeating the last part of my comment. Damn this thread.

I have the French 2016 2lp, which I really like. I think it sounds great. I don't know what the other presses are like, or if I was just lucky. I think the second disc is quite neat as well.Anyone grab this or have an opinion on it? Seems to be mixed reviews on sound quality.

Probably the best version you’ll be able to afford of it. I think it sounds quite good, the bass really jumps out, but yeah definitely not an audiophile pressing.
Are there any quality issues of his music? Does anyone have the most recent mono box set?
You can almost certainly get a clean original pressing for the cost of the 75th. It’s a great sounding album.Any recommendations on best pressing of Donald Byrd - Black Byrd? I see BN75 Reissued it, and there aren't any reviews on Discogs for that press, but I know many (all) have been planned.
SWEET MAMMAJAMMA THAT'S SPICYI'm currently in a place that has no record player. I have 12 shrink-wrapped records sitting next to my feet. ~8 are coming over the next 10 days.
I did this..

What the heck is wrong with the power of this thread....
(also, I really really miss my records player....)
It's the late afternoon ones that sneak up on you...I may have had a bit of "late afternoon Mather" that influenced the outcome.
Also: Though the Miles Davis Relaxin' (AP) has been backordered for at least a couple of years -- they sent me a shipping notice almost right away. I can't imagine it will actually ship... but.
but.

I group all of those under "self-care"I have been finding that the hungover morning self pity buys have been soaring in pandemic times...
funny... I thought I saw them coming. It's the late afternoon ones that sneak up on you...
Not sure if it helps but I have this version of Relaxin' and I think it sounds great:funny... I thought I saw them coming.
Also: sad face update... I got a second email from Acoustic gently revising my shipping notice to exclude the Miles Davis. (a guy can dream)
Also Also: I did the prep call for our event with Brian Owens today and the he couldn't have been a more decent, gracious, generous person. He's going to broadcast from his studio with a pretty tight set list of 6-7 sounds. (@soulsteprecords is just awesome)
you @tvham are a good person. (thank you)Not sure if it helps but I have this version of Relaxin' and I think it sounds great:

I checked twice like ten minutes ago and it said sold out both times... OddIf anybody missed out on the Craft One Step of Lush Life...they seem to be adding some back into stock. I was able to grab one for my buddy since my 2nd order was originally cancelled...so we'll see if they cancel this one or not!
I have distill set up and got an alert at 5:45 that it was back in stock.I checked twice like ten minutes ago and it said sold out both times... Odd
Two questions on joy Division/ New Order
- Does anyone have a recommendation on which Joy Division's (Unknown, Closer) are the right pressings?
- I've got the Temptation 12" (flipside, Hurt) and the sound is good (2019/2020). Does anyone know if the original factory EP or Singles are a better sound quality? It is a moderately meaningful record for me, etc
Can't comment on comparisons, but the original sounds really great. I believe all of their 12"s have really great reputations. Was gonna say might as well keep an eye out as they are pretty cheap, but damn prices keep shooting up on everything lately. You can always try a different single that's worth it to you and see if the difference is enough to justify the splurge on a second copy of Temptation. Two questions on joy Division/ New Order
