So I picked up the Bowie Ziggy reissue from last year, the repress of the box set remaster but the one that appears to be a different digital master than the earlier press. And I gotta say, it's pretty dang crunchy sounding, lots of treble and really not all that pleasant of a listen. Now I know that in general Bowie tends to not be the most high fidelity recordings but this one is a pretty good step down from all the others that I have from this series. I'm not sure whether that's down to this likely being a digital repress or whether it's just kinda what the album generally sounds like. Anyone with any opinions?

I wish I could find the proper AAA release but it's impossible now because of course this 2020 shares the same barcode and pretty much every single one listed on the Discogs AAA page was added in the past 6 months which means it's this digital version...
