Definitive Audiophile pressings

Weird, I placed my order on Tuesday night and still no shipping notice. But I think it was almost 3 days last time I ordered from them before they shipped. And that order landed about 48hrs later.

Same for me last week... about 3 days before it shipped. Then it was here the next day.

(And yeah, I ordered 5 more records because that was the sweet spot this time. And no @Andy , I didn't order Songs In The Key Of Life, but no joke it was in my basket and I took it out to save almost $20 on shipping - that was last night. I ordered EX's of late 70's pressings of For Your Pleasure and The Slider plus original japanese pressings of Seven & The Ragged Tiger, No Jacket Required and True Stories. The Duran Duran & Phil Collins were cheap, which is probably why I was able to sneak 5 records in the order. Somebody did snatch an Ex/Ex/Ex copy of The Power Station from me over the day yesterday though.)

My last order of 12 was $46 which for 12 didn’t seems too bad to me…

that one's a 1995 US BN Connoisseur pressing, not a King pressing for what its worth...can't remember how those are meant to sound on vinyl. that album rules though.
They are fine, Quebec' best BN album for me is Soul Samba (The Classic is incredible, 45 is very good).

Lets not forget supporting out locals in all the frenzy, I know I'm mostly preaching to the choir.

Nice I grabbed an early press of Rio that lots seem to rave about

Let me know what you think of it. I have a 2014 US edition which comes with the extra remix record. This edition contains the original UK mixes with the US mixes plus other remixes on the second LP. It's fine, but I'm curious.

(Do you know if the japanese edition uses the UK or the US mixes?)

What about the 2009 Analogue Productions 2 LP 45 KPG? 😬
That's the one, I'm just too lazy to get up to flip 45 sides so have the Classic which was slightly fuller/warmer to me. It is reference quality.

Why do I feel like it’s sitting in your cart right now and you’re waiting on @JohnnyCashFan to enable you 😂
@Nightcashfan usually in bed by 11 :ROFLMAO:

I’ve had my eye on a JP Rio from them for months, and the only thing stopping me is a vague hope they do a special vinyl edition for the 40th anniversary in 2022. (I know there were re-issues in 2009 and 2014)

I look forward to your thoughts when you have a listen. I’m also interested to know whether you ordered this 1982 JP version (732590, first listed on Discogs) or this 1982 JP version. (Called “1st press, poster” on Discogs w/ entry 12674834, but it’s the second listed 1982 edition).
