says sold out now. plus this was the highest price by far of anywhere i saw it.
Got my records today! First inspection, the Genesis and ELO records look like they were graded appropriately. The Dylan record had quite a few blemishes that made me concerned, but a good run through my Vinyl Flat, voila, clean as new.I just ordered Japanese OGs of Genesis - Seconds Out, Dylan - Desire, and ELO - A New World Record, all vinyl “EX”, and Desire has the Obi, all for $70 shipped.
Okay that's good to know but very strange. If you're going to post samples that aren't from the needle drop on the actual album. What the heck is the point?@Mather, I would be surprised if the samples are from the actual albums. While still in really nice condition, these haven't been cleaned and there is no way they would have sounded like the samples I heard. Just finished cleaning all these and they were never cleaned with anything noteworthy..........maybe brushed off, but that about it.
I did notice that the sample for “Something” was actually “Here Comes the Sun” on the samples for Abbey Road. So something makes me think they’re not too specific. I agree - what’s the point?Okay that's good to know but very strange. If you're going to post samples that aren't from the needle drop on the actual album. What the heck is the point?
Ike Quebec - Heavy Soul (-180g) Records Mail Order RECORD CITY Japan oh god, someone buy this so I don't
The Boston looks really nice, rarely find covers in good shape where I am. Almost all are faded significantly.Today's Record City delivery (ordered Saturday). I'm focusing on the 70's, mostly albums I've had several copies of over the years but never anything necessarily definitive. Assuming accurate grading, I don't think I'm paying any more for these than I'd pay locally for OG copies in this (EX) condition, which aren't easy to come by anyway. We'll see... (Rationalization is among the greatest of human qualities, isn't it?)

It does sound good but Nilsson Schmilsson is better and a better album IMO.My local just got Son of Schmillson... I don't need it I don't need it I don't need it
Yeah, the jacket on that one is basically Mint, which as you say is unusual--not even a hint of ring or edge wear. In fact all the jackets look to be in really great shape (all were listed as EX, as was the vinyl). The Boston looks really nice, rarely find covers in good shape where I am. K, spinning Wired at the moment but got through both Zep albums and they sound great, better than what I have, dynamic, detailed and very quiet. I'm happy with Record City's grading and product and will probably dip in again at some point.
............this Jeff Beck sounds amazing

The vinyl is every bit as clean as the jacket and sounds great. Same for the Fogelberg.
