Sweet. I have a lousy copy of Tjader/Palmieri “El Nuevo Sonido,” and I’m perpetually looking at his records (there are too many) without knowing where to start or the energy to figure that out, best pressings, etc. A collection of “jazzed-up pop chestnuts” isn’t normally where I’d start, but I will definitely check this out.

Reading the notes it sounds like it’s still sealed so you’d be rolling the dice whether it’s be the RTI pressing or a mislisted copy the non-KPG United pressing.

Edit: sorry I misread. You purchased a copy from this seller and It was the RTI pressing?

hey, I think I have an extra copy of that one. still sealed. sounds decent enough. you have one?

EDIT: oh, I did open the shrink to keep the best copy for myself (a few years back, Sundazed eneded up sending me the same order twice and told me to just keep it - this was part of it). it's on trans-orange but KPG and RTI all the same.

Yea I bought a copy from that same seller so I’d assume it’s the same version. Still a gamble though since it’s sealed. The version I bought was actually listed as that URP copy but I took a gamble assuming a sealed one from a distro place would be the newer KG.

Didn’t realize they had already done it and this is just another variant.

I think mine is this one, though my "gold" is more translucent orange. But my copy definitely says pressed at RTI on the sticker and the deadwax has KPG@CA.

Do you request to have LPs shipped outside of the sleeve? Maybe it was your copy that tipped em off.
