Definitive Audiophile pressings

Jealous! I’m getting impatient! Mine seems to have been stuck in a UPS depot in California for over a week now! It better get on that goddamn plane…
Maybe I grabbed yours by mistake? ;)
....and now to think if I want to upgrade from a dusty original.
I will say, the bonus disc is funky AF and not just some throwaway tracks. I usually play bonus materials once then forget about them, this one will get some spins for sure.

I think mine is some strange colour of some description! I’ve been impatient for this since I got Curtis just before Christmas. which is another amazing press by ROG!

there's a super long interview with speakers corner president here:

haven't watched it (and probably won't to be honest...) but did see this bullet point from someone who DID watch it:

He says that they can't license top tier Sony titles but when they do license a title from Sony, they can choose between a digital file or a tape copy from the original master tape made by Mark Wilder. They always choose the tape copy.

Ooooooh. That’s fancy….
feels very goldmember

I’d bite for the two Travelling Willburys albums…
I just really want some great soul reissues. there's kind of a gap when it comes to really awesome AAA soul reissues. We've been getting some Curtis stuff from ROG and Aretha here and there. Would really love Black Moses as a one step. I wanted to pick up the Craft Black Moses reissue but heard bad things about the US version and that the EU one was better....haven't gotten it yet though.

I think they only have the WB REMs right? and the reissues craft have done have been pretty great so far for those. i'm far from a knowledgable REM fan though.

Yeah that’s right. Personally I’d only spring for super fancy versions of the IRS ones, having missed the mofis, especially as the ones craft already have out are really good.

I think you're right, and they did do a great job with New Adventures. Even though it's not my favorite I bet they would see a ton of Out of Time, and maybe encourage other labels to do some alternative titles?

i have the MoFi of Murmur and it's great. Those early Quiex pressings are awesome too. I thought I had heard that the IRS tapes were potentially lost, but who knows!
