Depending on how adept you are with Microsoft Excel there is a function with conditional formatting that'll highlight duplicates.Yeah, exactly as @Joe Mac said. I know I have a lot of dupes now so want to clear out, but dont know what I have copies off from memory.
Im sure Discogs used to have more functions than it does now....
Ah well, looks like its scrolling through A-Z for me then.
Cheers anyway team.
I thought I might have to go down that route. They dont make it easy do they!!Depending on how adept you are with Microsoft Excel there is a function with conditional formatting that'll highlight duplicates.
Unless… it means more money for them!I thought I might have to go down that route. They dont make it easy do they!!
What would you do with more money?Unless… it means more money for them!
I mean it is now… I’m sure it’s just the first step in VMP taking over cogs and making it a database for rare pez dispensers. What would you do with more money?
Edit: Sorry, thought this was the VMP thread. Still relevant.
That’d be nice because I have a few pez dispensers I need to unload *ba dum tss*I mean it is now… I’m sure it’s just the first step in VMP taking over cogs and making it a database for rare pez dispensers.
Ogger.club has a duplicates feature.Question time.
Is there a function in Discogs to allow you to pull up duplicate listings in the Collection section?
Or is it just a case of organising by artist (A-Z) and scrolling through?
Looks safe to use, after reading the TOS... yes?Ogger.club has a duplicates feature.
In my estimation, yes. Terms couldn't be simpler and Privacy Policy states they do not share any data with third parties. It's not perfect, but I use it for the enhanced statistics and for the simple ability to sort my collection on a custom column (in my case, date last cleaned) which Discogs cannot do natively.Looks safe to use, after reading the TOS... yes?
I know, right?!!!I don't know if anyone knows this, but the National's first two pages of Frankenstein is out now....

I know, right?!!!
If I understand artist alerts correctly, it is if you have that artist in your Discogs collection, correct?
I have one Nationals album - that VMP did way back when. So I'm gonna blame this on VMP.
I know what I'll be selling next.
DO YOU THINK THE NATIONAL HAS A NEW ALBUM COMING OUT!?!?!?!?!

Fucks sake, my phone nearly buzzed off the table when I got 6 emails in less than a second.
Did you see the follow-up guide on how to "pass along our fee gouging to your buyers"?More profits=more emails
I did. It's amazing to me how so many of these places don't understand keeping this industry thriving. At some point people just aren't going to pay the higher prices. VMP has been big in getting interest in the early days, and now it's all about monetizing. Don't love seeing that guy roll over to Discogs.Did you see the follow-up guide on how to "pass along our fee gouging to your buyers"?
It's a weird interface to get working...Giving it a try now...
