Just be careful because Discogs does ban users for that if it's filter catches your messages. Not sure how great they are at tracking this, but I've talked to people who got the boot on there because of it.

yeah we’ll see. I know they do it, but so far this is my only 4th time doing it and I’m still buying/selling the regular way. Maybe I’m just lucking out for now.
 
  1. i have somehow forgotten how to generate a shipping label on discogs. i use paypal to receive the payment (which i've done) and i've packed the record (adorably i might add), but i haven't done this in 6+ years and for the life of me can't remember where i get shipping labels from. i never had to do anything extra for them i don't think?? i'm lost. if anyone can help, i'd appreciate.

1. try pirate ship? https://www.discogs.com/shipping has instructions with links for doing it through them though.
2. go to that DisCovers site and put in your username, it takes a hot minute to complete

I don’t have a printer so I just write the address on the box and have USPS do the rest when I get there.

so i just bn pay it myself? i know this sounds dumb. i just don't remembre ever having to do it separately. maybe i did it through paypal. i know pirate ship is popular with a lot of artists i know so i'll probably do that. thanks!

i have a printer and 0 desire to go to the post office (long lines). i usually just hand it to the mail carrier at his truck. he's very nice.

I do mine with my printer and pirateship. I'm usually sending more than 3 at a time so it feels dickish to hand to the mailman, I usually drop 'em at the PO. If it's one-off, I'll ask the postman if he minds.
 
I have my buyer rating set to 96 or 97 in my store. Why do new users keep placing orders? And they’re paying instantly. I already had to do a review of a bad comment. Guy joined day of the purchase. It got taken off but I don’t need the stress. Just had another guy get through, joined in 2020 no collection no purchases. I went through though with it but now I’m freaking out, while I wait for the scam.

They have a US site now that is higher priced but cheaper with shipping if you want to buy only one or two things. If doing a bigger order it's still cheaper to buy from the Japanese site.
