Yes!! The canvas. I really like when paint is heavily applied and produces texture. I am a huge fan of Impressionism.

Latest cutting/charcuterie board if you squint and tilt your head a bit, there's a 3D effect that makes it seem like rows of boxes.
This one is maple, cherry, and walnut.

How did you do the edges? Router or sander?

Router with a roundover bit.




This board was a lot more involved than the previous ones, since the end-grain is exposed. You have to be a little more careful on the edges to not create snipe or tear-out of the wood fibers. The roundover bit takes care of most of that, then a lot of sanding.

That is awesome! What type of wood did you use? Looks like purple heart? I have not used any exotic woods yet.
